(Chicago/Hybrid) The Director of Community Engagement is a pivotal position in shaping and managing the organization's social media presence. This position focuses on developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility, audience engagement, and organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include leading a team of social media professionals, creating captivating content across platforms like Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, analyzing performance metrics, and staying ahead of emerging trends to refine strategies. This position will collaborate across departments, manage budgets, and foster relationships with influencers and stakeholders while ensuring consistent brand messaging. The Director of Community Engagement will ensure the organization's mission and vision resonate effectively with its global audience. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing and Creative Strategy and is based in our Chicago headquarters. We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related discipline or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years of related agency or business experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is required. Social Media Management or Director experience at a non-profit is preferred.
