About The Position

The Director of Slot Strategy is responsible for overseeing and optimizing slot profitability, machine mix, and floor layout across supported properties. Serving as the primary liaison between the Slot Strategy Center of Excellence (COE) and property slot teams, this role provides leadership on performance-driven decisions, identifies opportunities, resolves issues, and addresses concerns impacting slot operations. The Director ensures all slot-related processes are efficient, effective, and continuously refined, while aligning with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, with at least 4+ years of relevant experience; 7+ years including leadership of teams strongly preferred.
• Proven background in slot operations with prior experience as a Director or Manager of Slot Operations in a high-volume integrated casino resort.
• Strong product knowledge, including slot machine purchasing, floor planning and configuration, and vendor management.
• Deep understanding of customer psychology related to slot play, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance engagement and profitability.
• In-depth knowledge of slot operations and processes, with a record of implementing best practices and efficiency improvements.
• Experience directing and managing employees, building strong teams, and collaborating effectively across multiple departments and properties.

Responsibilities

• Support Slot Strategy by identifying, developing, socializing, and implementing best practices in pricing, machine mix, and floor layout at both the property and industry levels.
• Partner with slot leaders to optimize profitability through guest service standards, labor efficiencies, slot pricing, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with the Slot Analytics team to track, monitor, and report on strategic initiatives across properties.
• Coordinate with property slot leadership to introduce new machines and themes, implement business efficiency technologies, optimize machine mix and layouts, apply pricing standards, and monitor labor costs.
• Work with gaming departments and property leadership to execute slot portfolio and mix initiatives.
• Recommend new products, services, technologies, and processes to the Executive Director of Slot Strategy to strengthen the Company’s competitive advantage.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to provide input, secure buy-in, and ensure alignment across the enterprise.
• Provide support to property slot technology teams, slot management, and guest experience representatives to ensure effective execution of slot strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with slot technology managers, support optimization initiatives, identify emergent needs, and execute approved opportunities to maximize value.
