About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of Service, Palliative Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County . Opportunity Details: Lead and manage the Kings County Palliative Care Service to achieve clinical excellence, medical education, and growth. Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to enhance hospital-wide quality of care for palliative patients. Provide direct inpatient and outpatient palliative care, including symptom management, end-of-life care, and advance care planning. Develop, implement, and evaluate the strategic plan for the palliative care program. Lead efforts to achieve and maintain Joint Commission Certification in Palliative Care. Lead quality improvement projects and analyze patient outcomes. Explore development of Palliative Care fellowship training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Care (required).
  • Leadership and managerial experience, including finance, quality, and resource management.
  • Clinical maturity and experience in the specialty preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $261,345 based on 40-hour work week.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $287,479, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
