This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills and abilities that are critical components of the position of Director of Security & Facility Security Officer (FSO). GENERAL The Director of Security & FSO is responsible for managing, administering, and coordinating Department of Defense (DOD), industrial, and aviation security programs. This position ensures compliance with government regulations (including NISPOM), FAA requirements, and company policies. The role includes personnel clearance management, corporate physical security oversight, and operational liaison responsibilities with Federal agencies. The Director also provides key leadership in regulatory audits, insider threat programs, and the administration of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) obligations.
