The Director of Security Operations at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is responsible for managing daily operational and administrative functions across security contracts. This role involves supporting the Senior Vice President in decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with contract performance, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational capabilities. The position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage daily operational and administrative functions across security contracts employing Inter-Con employees
  • Keep the SVP apprised of contract performance by accurately communicating status of compliance and identifying any deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Support the SVP operational decision-making process
  • Develop and implement project plans for key strategic initiatives designed to improve operations capabilities and responsiveness
  • Compile productivity and performance SLAs, KPIs, and dashboard reports to ensure metrics are captured and reported for executive level consumption
  • Ensure the highest standards of conduct, appearance, performance, and training are being met at all times.
  • Ability to independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products (e.g. - MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
  • Understanding of security operations and contracts management preferred
  • Understanding of operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to drive operations
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Experience in a supervisory role in a general office setting preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
  • Technologically savvy with experience in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of technology-driven scheduling platforms is a plus
  • Project management experience; PMP certification is a plus
  • Adept in leading teams in complex problem solving
  • Customer service orientation required
  • Ability to interact in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines in a high tempo environment
  • Excellent time-management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive work attitude
