Our mission is to be the catalyst for massive, measurable, data-informed healthcare improvement through: Data: integrate data in a flexible, open & scalable platform to power healthcare’s digital transformation Analytics: deliver analytic applications & services that generate insight on how to measurably improve Expertise: provide clinical, financial & operational experts who enable & accelerate improvement Engagement: attract, develop and retain world-class team members by being a best place to work Role: Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Team: Accounting/Finance Location: Salt Lake City Metro Area (preferred) or US Remote Travel: <5%, US This position is currently not eligible for visa sponsorship What you'll own in this role: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial reporting, including SEC filings Perform research to ensure that financial statements and disclosures are presented in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements Perform technical accounting research and prepare technical accounting memos Contribute to ad-hoc projects which may include acquisition accounting and other technical accounting projects Assist in coordination of internal control testing and maintaining effective internal controls Assist with external audits What you bring to this role: Strong work ethic and detail-oriented Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to work well with others in a hybrid work environment Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills Preferred Education & Experience CPA required 4+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting experience Experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance Strong understanding of US GAAP Experience with Workiva, Workday, and AI preferred, but not required Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities: Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security. Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy. Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers. Requirements
