About The Position

While our facilities are in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and California, this position requires a person with deep knowledge, experience and contacts in the West Coast markets, specifically in the industries of CPG, Beauty, Healthcare and other Brand markets. This position may require travel predominately in the West Coast with most prospects located in large cities such as Los Angelas, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Travel to DCL facilities will be expected. This position reports to the VP of Sales, who is based on the west coast.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, including CRM (Hubspot, etailinsights)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, and Teams)
  • This role requires someone who is result oriented, a self-starter and a pro-active
  • Ability to drive business growth, conduct market research, generate leads, and present proposals
  • Proven ability to find, confidently interact, and present to and with “C” level individuals and other decision-makers
  • A minimum of three to five years of Sales and Operational experience in the 3PL industry
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in outside sales is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or related field, or comparable record of sales experience required.
  • Experience in outside sales is required

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or the equivalent of experience in proven sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for potential new clients and convert leads
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your existing network
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Plan approaches and pitches
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Drive the analysis, solutions, and pricing proposals
  • Present new services and enhance existing relationships
  • Work within a matrix-based organization and work cross functionally across the various groups including IT, Operations, Account Management and Sales
  • Knowledge of CRM, data entry and management of pipeline activities
  • Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned
