About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Director of Sales. The Director of Sales - TS Tubes North America is responsible for the commercial leadership, strategy, and execution of Industrial and Technical Tube sales across North America. This role will lead inside and outside sales teams at WTC and WCP, driving profitable growth, market share expansion, and consistent commercial execution aligned with Wieland Thermal Solutions’ strategy and Commercial Excellence framework.will be responsible for. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to achieve sales plans and drive profitable growth within complex, multi-site organizations.
  • Strong leadership capability with demonstrated success in developing and coaching high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of value-based selling, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong strategic planning, project management, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills with customers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a direct sales organization, preferably within industrial, metals, or OEM-driven markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the North American sales strategy for Industrial and Technical Tube segments, ensuring alignment with TS NA and BUTS business objectives.
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for Account Executives (outside sales) and Inside Sales teams supporting WTC and WCP.
  • Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, market share, pricing discipline, and profitability.
  • Develop annual sales objectives, operating plans, and individual performance goals for direct reports and functional teams.
  • Own key customer relationships and support strategic account development to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Drive new business development initiatives in collaboration with Account Executives, marketing, product management, and operations.
  • Support senior leadership in strategic planning, product and market development, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of pricing strategies, contract negotiations, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, supply chain, and engineering to deliver a consistent and reliable customer experience.
  • Champion Wieland’s values, safety culture, and Commercial Excellence principles across all sales activities.
