About The Position

Under general direction this position is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading sales strategy, and building a high-performance sales culture across the enterprise markets. This leader will balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership, ensuring strong market execution while preserving the cooperative’s mission-driven, member-first focus.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with cooperative goals and community impact.
  • Create annual and long-range sales plans supporting fiber expansion, product growth, and member retention.
  • Establish KPI’s, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
  • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
  • Drive growth across all services offered including fiber broadband, voice, managed services, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
  • Lead and collaborate on go-to-market strategies for new product launches and network expansions.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and community engagement opportunities.
  • Oversee sales campaigns aligned with cooperative branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop sales teams.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
  • Build a collaborative, mission-driven, performance-based sales culture.
  • Implement structured onboarding, coaching, and professional development programs.
  • Member & Community Engagement
  • Foster strong relationships with members, business leaders, community organizations, and regional partners.
  • Serves as a cooperative ambassador at community events, chamber functions, trade shows, and industry meetings.
  • Ensures sales practices reflect cooperative values and emphasize long-term member relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align growth strategies.
  • Support product development and service enhancements based on member and market feedback.
