About The Position

The Director of Sales is a revenue-driving role responsible for leading new business growth at Onspire. This role blends strategic sales leadership with hands-on selling, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close while helping refine our go-to-market approach. You’ll work closely with marketing, customer success, and leadership to position Onspire as a trusted growth partner for healthcare organizations, translating complex marketing solutions into clear, compelling value for prospects. This role is ideal for a proven healthcare or B2B services seller who thrives in consultative sales, understands long sales cycles, and is excited to build scalable growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue leadership, ideally within healthcare marketing, healthcare services, or B2B professional services
  • Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals with six-figure engagements
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, paid media, websites, analytics, patient acquisition), with the ability to sell outcomes — not tactics
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
  • Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up through proposal development and contract close
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare decision-makers, understanding their growth goals, challenges, and priorities
  • Position Onspire’s integrated marketing solutions clearly and confidently, tailoring recommendations to each prospect
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue targets tied to OTE
  • Partner with leadership to refine sales strategy, pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive insights, and client needs to influence service offerings
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation, messaging, and sales enablement materials
  • Help establish and improve sales processes, CRM usage, and forecasting
  • Work closely with internal strategy, marketing, and account teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to delivery
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during early client engagements, setting expectations and building long-term relationships
