StepStone Hospitality is seeking a motivated individual to join our team at the Hampton Inn & Suites Cranberry Township. This position involves working closely with the General Manager, Regional Director of Revenue Management, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing to maximize revenue potential for the hotel and ensure a memorable experience for our guests. The role requires proactive direct sales efforts, relationship building, and a focus on achieving monthly room revenue budgets. The successful candidate will engage in weekly prospecting and solicitation calls, utilize business tools for new business development, and ensure timely submission of reports and internal requests. Additionally, the candidate will provide insights to corporate staff on revenue growth strategies and participate in ongoing training to enhance their skills.

  • Work with the General Manager and other executives to optimize revenue potential.
  • Book appropriate business to achieve or exceed monthly room revenue budgets.
  • Engage in proactive direct sales and relationship building.
  • Meet or exceed weekly telephone prospecting and solicitation call goals.
  • Utilize business tools for prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Plan and follow up on client outside sales calls effectively.
  • Submit all reports and internal requests on time.
  • Provide suggestions for revenue growth to corporate staff.
  • Understand the annual budgeting process related to revenue generation.
  • Attend sales training and continuing education to improve skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of hotel sales experience in a management role.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills to assess business opportunities.
  • Enjoys customer interaction and networking within the industry.
  • Willingness to perform other assigned duties.
