About The Position

Upholds the Credit Union’s mission of “We do the right thing one member, one employee, and one experience at a time to strengthen the communities we serve” the Director of Sales & Service is responsible for leading and optimizing Capital Credit Union’s sales and service delivery across all member-facing channels. This role ensures a consistent, high-quality member experience while driving sustainable growth through relationship-based sales, coaching excellence, and operational effectiveness. The Director partners with marketing, lending, operations, and digital teams to align strategies, improve performance, and deepen member relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, service, or retail operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site or multi-channel teams.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Must possess valid drivers’ license with a good driving record.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented decision-making.
  • Ability to influence across functions and leadership levels.
  • Commitment to member advocacy and cooperative values.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial services or credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth while aligning with the credit union’s mission and values.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and incentive strategies that balance member needs and organizational objectives.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards across branches and member service channels.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the end-to-end member experience.
  • Coach and develop leaders and frontline teams to build a strong performance culture.
  • Partner with Employee Experience on talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and the member journey.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
