As a key member of the Resort Leadership Team, the Director of Sales & Marketing serves as the senior commercial leader for Alyeska Resort, Alaska’s premier year-round mountain destination. This role provides both strategic direction and hands-on leadership across the full spectrum of sales and marketing, with responsibility for integrating lodging, mountain experiences, and resort-wide programming into a cohesive, year-round demand-generation strategy. Operating within a true destination commercial model, the Director plays a critical role in shaping how guests discover, purchase, and experience Alyeska Resort as a complete and integrated offering, while driving topline revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term brand value. The Director leads both proactive and reactive sales efforts in a high-volume, complex resort environment with significant group, tour, transient, and catering demand, ensuring alignment with Alyeska’s brand promise, ownership objectives, and long-term growth strategy. In close partnership with the General Manager, Executive Leadership Team, Revenue Management, Brand Strategy, Operations, Mountain, and Nordic Spa teams, this role delivers fully integrated commercial strategies that maximize revenue, strengthen brand presence, and elevate the overall guest experience.
