About the position

This position will lead sales for a key retailer or business unit within our Clorox family of brands, as part of a 100+ year legacy of helping people around the world live happier, healthier lives. As the sales leader, this person will lead and drive accountability within the team to innovate, develop and execute plans that deliver the long-range growth plans. We are seeking innovative, growth leaders who set a high personal bar of achievement for themselves and their teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage broad sales knowledge and business experiences to inform sales strategy and strategic choices for the business
  • Demonstrate deep consumer and customer knowledge and identify connection points between consumer needs/trends and strategy
  • Translate business strategy into operational plan with performance-based KPIs and execution
  • Navigate and adapt business and sales strategy with volatile market conditions and disruptions
  • Clear understanding of technology and ecommerce impact on business
  • Demonstrate 'GM mindset' - recognizes and prioritizes what is most important to business success
  • Translate business needs into sales capabilities, development and succession readiness
  • Attract top talent internally and externally to advance the organization

Requirements

  • Prior sales/customer/sales planning experience in a related environment/industry
  • Creates, develops and inspires a diverse workforce with a culture of inclusion and innovation
  • Successful demonstration of short- and long-term business or organizational objectives
  • Led a transformation, change effort and/or business turnaround with sustainable results
  • Strong people management experience with effectively leading, developing and coaching a sizeable, geographically dispersed team with successful results
