We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales Development to lead and optimize our current sales development team, develop and drive new outbound initiatives that scale internationally. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in sales development, with a proven track record in driving pipeline growth, implementing scalable strategies, and building strong sales teams. This role requires strategic vision, leadership capabilities, and hands-on coaching to inspire and motivate a team of SDRs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or related roles with a focus on outbound and inbound strategies.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing sales development teams.
  • Proven success in developing scalable sales development processes and strategies and the ability to manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proven track record of success in exceeding personal and team quotas.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where you can thrive is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive qualified pipeline growth through effective lead generation, nurturing, and outbound sales strategies, both driven by teams of BDRs and leveraging AI to scale.
  • Manage and optimize a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), ensuring performance goals and KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to align campaigns, messaging, and lead generation efforts.
  • Build and refine sales development processes, including lead scoring, outreach strategies, and performance tracking.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to assess team performance, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Own the development and execution of new outbound motions that scale internationally.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth within the team.
  • Manage tools and technologies such as CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline generation, team performance, and key success metrics to leadership.

  • In addition to the base there is a $75,000 commission plan.
