As ourDirector of Sales-Central, you’ll be overseeing territory sales strategy, distribution expansion, and retail execution while building and leading a high-performing field sales team. You’ll manage regional chains and independent accounts across the following states: CO, WY, NE, KS, UT, NM, TX, OK, AR, LA, MO, IA, SD, ND, MN, IL, IN, OH, WI, and MI. Working closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and supply chain, you’ll drive distribution growth, optimize trade spend, and strengthen TRIP’s presence at retail.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of beverage or CPG sales experience across multiple channels
  • 5+ years leading field execution sales teams
  • Proven track record driving distribution and market growth
  • Strong experience with P&L management and sales analytics
  • Skilled at building retailer relationships and delivering sales presentations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance
  • This role is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or individuals authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Territory Leadership: Drive sales strategy and distribution growth across the Central region.
  • Team Development: Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing field sales team.
  • Retail Execution: Implement channel strategies that align pricing, shelving, and merchandising with brand goals.
  • Account Management: Manage regional chains and independent customers while strengthening key relationships.
  • Performance & Analytics: Leverage CRM tools and syndicated data to improve distribution, reduce out-of-stocks, and optimize trade spend.
  • Financial Ownership: Manage P&L performance and evaluate ROI across promotions and account programming.
  • Market Insights: Identify trends and opportunities to grow category share and drive market expansion.
