About The Position

The Director of Revenue at Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles is responsible for leading revenue management strategies and execution for the hotel or a group of hotels. This role focuses on ensuring the team provides effective revenue management services to enhance market share and profitability. The Director will analyze underperformance, collaborate with various departments, and implement strategic action plans to achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in revenue management leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or strategy.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills; knowledge of Yield Systems, Delphi, Oracle Hospitality Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure team delivers against MHR revenue management core services.
  • Proper setup and utilization of critical Revenue Management systems.
  • Deliver forecast accuracy to enable effective segment / pricing strategy.
  • Effective use of all MHR tools and processes to optimize profit and grow market share.
  • Take ownership and initiative towards achieving business goals; drive empowerment, ownership, and accountability.
  • Stay focused on priorities critical to success and sustainable profits; recognize problems and take rapid actions to resolve performance issues.
  • Sell ideas persuasively and influence without direct authority; negotiate skillfully in tough situations.
  • Anticipate market demand and lead efforts to develop strategies for the most profitable customer mix.
  • Foster strong relationships with key departments: marketing, digital, sales, distribution, finance, and operations.
  • Build effective working relationships with regional and property leadership.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand the value of revenue management activities and align on goals and strategies.
  • Encourage an entrepreneurial spirit that engenders innovation and new ideas.
  • Think outside the box and challenge the status quo; respond with agility to changing business environments.
  • Lead by example demonstrating company core values.
  • Set challenging goals aligned to the strategic vision; establish clear direction and priorities.
  • Lead team with ethical methods and actions in compliance with laws and policies.
  • Create a culture that celebrates success and rewards high performance.
  • Collaborate with Regional RM Leads to enhance General Managers' understanding of revenue management.
