The Director of Revenue Management at Andaz Miami Beach is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through effective pricing and distribution strategies.   • Maximize overall hotel revenue for rooms and food and beverage through effective pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Analyze short and long-term forecasting and trends in group inventories and rates.
  • Monitor marketing channels and ensure all distribution channels maintain rate parity.
  • Conduct weekly strategy meetings to evaluate pricing strategies and availability control.
  • Provide qualified analysis of group bookings to assess their impact on occupancy and profit.
  • Develop property-specific strategies in collaboration with other departments.
  • Establish goals and benchmarks to measure performance effectively.
  • Monitor competition and identify emerging trends to stimulate additional revenue.
  • Lead, hire, train, and coach Reservations agents and the Reservation manager.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance
  • Three years as an Assistant Manager or Analyst in hotel revenue management
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Intermediate or expert skill level in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Technically strong in managing systems such as PRIO, OPERA, RMT, Reserve, Envision, and Cognos
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Experience with revenue management projects
