Director of Revenue Integrity
About The Position
US Orthopaedic Partners (USOP) is seeking a results-driven Director of Revenue Integrity to lead enterprise-wide audit, Education and Revenue Integrity initiatives within the Revenue Cycle function. This role is responsible for ensuring: Accurate coding and billing practices Documentation integrity Financial risk mitigation Cash flow protection Operational transparency Regulatory policies and Education Revenue improvement Opportunities The Director will oversee internal and external audits, standardize corrective action processes, and partner closely with Coding, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to protect revenue and reduce organizational risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of RCM, coding, Revenue Integrity, or audit leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, commercial payer, and RAC audit processes
- Strong analytical, regulatory, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in multi-site healthcare environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all internal and external audit activity (commercial, federal, RAC, and internal reviews)
- Develop and maintain centralized audit tracking and reporting
- Oversee coding accuracy and documentation audits
- Quantify financial exposure and manage appeal processes
- Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Monitor key Revenue Integrity KPIs and report to executive leadership
- Provide education and feedback to providers and operational teams
- Establish standardized governance and escalation protocols across practices
