Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum Experience: Experience in A/R management and/or managed care contracting and analysis as well as directing a multi-facility business office.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, directs and controls Business Services activities within the department and throughout the hospital.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, directing and monitoring Business Services personnel.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Business Office and Admitting.
  • Works with the Business Office Manager to set, monitor and ensure compliance with departmental goals.
  • Works within departmental budgets, develops policies and procedures, evaluates departmental performance, educates/guides employees and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal agencies/payers/employers.
  • Ensures compliance with hospital and corporate guidelines.
