We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and technical leader to join Lantheus as the Finance Director, Revenue Recognition. This individual is responsible for leading, developing and driving the Global Revenue financial and accounting related processes across Lantheus. Responsibilities will include partnering with cross-functional teams within the business, most notably the Commercial organization on revenue forecasting, budgeting, analytics and decision support. This role will be a key member of the finance and accounting leadership team, collaborating closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations and Internal Audit, reporting directly to the Global Controller. This individual will have a strong analytical and technical accounting background, driving timely and accurate financial closes, effective internal controls, and compliance to company policies.

  • Responsible for revenue recognition policies and procedures are in conformance with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, other pertinent authoritative literature, and the Company's established policies.
  • Lead the financial partnering with the Commercial Revenue and Insights team analyzing historical revenue and providing key insights to the budget and forecast development, including quantification of risks and opportunities.
  • Builds, owns and maintains weekly revenue and dashboards using financial systems (i.e. SAP, SAC, BI, etc..) that provide actionable insights on performance against historical actual trends, forecasts and budgets.
  • Ownership of the revenue and pricing internal reporting packages and presentations with an emphasis on key insights.
  • Review accounting memos, 606 contract reviews and positions related to significant, complex, and/or non-standard agreements/transactions.
  • Responsible for the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including assurance of accurate and timely results in our SAP S/4 HANA and all related interfaces and systems.
  • Manage the quarterly reviews and annual revenue audit for both the internal and external auditors.
  • Close collaboration with FP&A on analyzing revenue results to explain the drivers and changes in the Balance Sheet and P&L versus prior periods and latest forecasts and budget.
  • Lead the Revenue Close Process Improvement and Transformation projects.
  • Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 requirement as related to revenue recognition, ERP, and related systems.
  • Responsible for OTC and related revenue KPIs, performance metrics, executive and management reporting dashboards, and operating targets.
  • Drive accounting analyses for business combinations, asset acquisitions, contingent consideration and other business development activities for revenue-related matters.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization on new initiatives and special projects.
  • Drive the identification of inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvements and lead the implementation of best practices.
  • Lead, retain, and develop a high-performing revenue finance team.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc projects as requested.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience within a life sciences organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Significant experience in technical accounting, including revenue recognition and business combinations.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated accounting systems; experience with SAP S/4HANA or other large ERP systems is essential.
  • Recent experience managing and developing a team is strongly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with FP&A processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a proven capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively, along with strong leadership skills.
  • MBA or Master's in Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience Leading, retaining, and developing a high-performing team.
