About The Position

SodexoMagic is seeking a Director of Restaurants, who will work with the food and beverage teams within the elite Delta Sky Clubs at Hartsfield Jackson Altanta Airport. Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.

Requirements

  • a proven track record executing high-volume F&B operations within top-tier hotels, cruise lines or other upscale food and beverage operations (multi-site)
  • a compelling and energetic executive presence, along with great attention to detail
  • strategic-thinking leader who can work in partnership with a complex client organization
  • the ability to lead, coach and develop teams in service excellence and standards
  • strong food & beverage knowledge and innovation to ensure superior service delivery
  • top-notch floor presence; high-visibility leadership, with daily visits to lounges
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years

  • Knowledge of Net Promoter Score metrics a plus

Responsibilities

  • oversees full P&L, labor, cost controls, forcasting and financial performance
  • set, implement, and enforce service standards across all lounges
  • lead, hire, train and develop management teams
  • maintain constant floor presence during peak periods; lead by example
  • ensure consistency in guest experience, service recovery, and brand execution
  • oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and productivity aligned with flight volume
  • drive accountability across FOH, bar and, kitchen leadership
  • partner with corporate, airport authorities and vendors
  • own compliance: DOH, safety, security and airport regulations
  • identify operational gaps and correct as needed
