About The Position
The Director of Resident Services plans, develops, organizes, and implements activities which stress recreation, diversion, and intellectual/educational development for Residents; manages the day-to-day concerns of the Residents, coordinating necessary resources; promotes the Volunteer Program and represents the facility to the area churches and the wider community, including recruitment and retention of Volunteers for all areas of the facility.
Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- College degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license, and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
- Eligible for chauffeur’s license.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- One year experience with recreational programming in a geriatric setting preferred.
- Experience working in a 55+ senior living community and Life Enrichment experience with senior population preferred.
