About The Position

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Resident Care to lead our clinical team and ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care in a warm, residential setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has a heart for seniors and a passion for leadership.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the State of New York.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with older adults and leading by example.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care within the community.
• Supervise and support nursing and caregiving staff to ensure compassionate, person-centered care.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and community policies.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and department heads to maintain a positive, home-like environment.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to care staff.
