About The Position
The Director of Research Technology is a foundational role that supports the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s research mission and ensures operational and regulatory integrity. Working within the Mount Sinai Health System Information Technology team and serving as a strategic leader and institutional liaison, the Director ensures that Mount Sinai’s research enterprise is supported by secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Research Technology, the Director serves as the subject matter expert for research enterprise technology, providing oversight of systems supporting basic, translational and clinical research. With deep expertise in research administration, clinical research and compliance, the Director aligns institutional priorities with technology strategy. The role requires leading stakeholder engagement and process improvement, as well as translating complex research & regulatory requirements into effective, technology enabled solutions while managing a team of product managers and analysts.
