About The Position

The Director of Rehabilitation reports to the Vice President of Hospital Operations and oversees the rehabilitation services including therapy, case management, therapy scheduling, and quality reporting via IRF PAI. Responsibilities: Lead the therapy, case management, therapy scheduling, and IRF PAI departments Oversee key performance indicators specific to rehabilitative services including but not limited to functional outcomes, discharge disposition, and access to care Oversee operational and capital budget for rehabilitation departments Develop succession plans for the growth of rehabilitation services Complete performance management and disciplinary action in collaboration with HR Utilize data analytics to drive quality metrics and improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness Understand and utilize payroll reporting, profit and loss statements, volume reports, and payer mix Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Maintain policies and procedures with respect to therapy and case management Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Programs on program enhancements and advancement Collaborate with educators and therapy management to ensure adequate onboarding, training, and development of all team members Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external Participate in surveys for accreditation

Requirements

  • Clinical background preferred PT, OT, SLP
  • Minimum 1- year management experience
  • Experience in rehabilitation required with knowledge of regulation and insurance/length of stay management
  • Highly developed interpersonal, results-oriented, and judgment skills
