Requirements

Must have a current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Nebraska.
They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the needs of patients in the facility.
Supervising and evaluating the performance of rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for rehabilitation services.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Assessing patient needs and developing individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Managing resources, including equipment and supplies, to support the delivery of rehabilitation services.
Providing leadership and mentoring to rehabilitation staff to promote a positive work environment and professional growth.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of rehabilitation services.
Maintaining documentation and reporting on the outcomes of rehabilitation services to track progress and ensure accountability.
