About The Position
Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services. The Director of Rehabilitation & Wellness Services is responsible for the overall operations & success of nursing, therapies, wellness and business services. The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining rehabilitation and wellness programs to meet the identified needs of the community. The Director is administratively responsible for the management of fiscal and personnel resources, performance improvement, information management, strategic planning, marketing, community education, physician/customer relations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation. This role is based at Central Maine Medical Center, with travel and leadership responsibilities for accross inpatient and outpatient Rehab Services across Lewinston and Aubrun locations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a Medical Rehabilitation field preferred.
- Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience
- Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state
- BLS for healthcare providers certification upon hire and maintain current.
