About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead therapy services within a skilled nursing facility in Orlando. This role is ideal for a hands-on rehab leader who can balance clinical outcomes, team leadership, and operational performance. If you’ve led a rehab team in a SNF and understand how to drive both patient outcomes and productivity, this is a strong opportunity. Requirements
- Minimum 1–2+ years of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a SNF (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and SNF rehab operations
- Proven leadership experience managing therapy teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehab department (PT, OT, SLP)
- Supervise and support therapy staff to ensure high-quality care
- Manage scheduling, caseloads, and productivity standards
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements
- Collaborate with nursing and administration on care plans and outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust programs as needed
- Maintain strong communication with residents and families
