Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program which typically equates to at least 5 years of formal education or training -OR- Bachelor’s Degree required
Previous experience as a Director of Rehabilitation or Director of Occupational Therapy preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist required.
Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language.
Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
Registered in the state of Kansas as an Occupational Therapist and must maintain registration with appropriate continuing education required.
CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire – Oversee daily operations of Rehabilitation and Respiratory Therapy, ensuring exceptional patient care.
Mentor & Develop – Guide a skilled team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, and Cardiopulmonary Specialists.
Innovate & Elevate – Implement cutting-edge treatment techniques and expand services through Elevate Health.
Strategic Leadership – Manage budgets, drive departmental goals, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Community Engagement – Represent ECMC through outreach, health fairs, and education efforts.
