We are seeking a Director of Rehab Services to join our team at Vibra Hospital of Denver, a 54 bed Critical Care Hospital located in Thornton, CO. The hospital provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, often requiring additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

  • Serve as the Director of all rehabilitation services for the hospital.
  • Achieve clinical and financial operational goals.
  • Monitor admissions and treatment schedules.
  • Assist in marketing and development of new programs.
  • Implement hospital policy as appropriate.
  • Ensure rehab department meets the Joint Commission and CARF accreditation.
  • Provide additional administrative supervision and rehabilitation management as established by the Chief Executive Officer/Governing Board.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of therapy-related experience required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Master’s Degree in an allied health field preferred.
  • Three (3) years management experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and with inpatient psychiatric population.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress or in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interact with people who are under physical and/or emotional stress.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
