The Director of Recruiting will play a pivotal role in the People Team at Henry Street Settlement, a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving its team members and the community. This position is based in New York, NY, and requires a commitment to a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, typically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility. Initially, the role will be fully in-person during the onboarding phase, transitioning to a hybrid model with an average of 3-4 days a week onsite. The annual salary for this position is $80,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. As part of the People Team, which supports the needs of approximately 700 team members, the Director of Recruiting will lead the full cycle recruitment process for various programs within the organization. This includes managing a recruitment team consisting of one Recruiter and one Recruiting Coordinator, overseeing the recruitment strategy, and ensuring that the agency meets its staffing needs effectively. The Director will be responsible for recruiting for approximately 15-20 vacancies, utilizing a data-driven approach to analyze recruitment metrics and improve processes. The role requires building and maintaining partnerships with program leadership across 18 sites, contributing to the overall people strategy of Henry Street Settlement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the organization's mission, a strong background in recruitment within the nonprofit sector, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
