About The Position

Oversees all aspects of radiology services. Provides guidance and leadership to the clinic and strives to maintain an excellent public image of the Toledo Clinic. Works under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer.

Five years of leadership experience in a clinical setting required.
Previous supervisory experience required.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.

Nice To Haves

Business Administration degree a plus, Master’s Degree preferred.
5 years of business management experience in a radiology service line.

Responsibilities

Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations across modalities (Examples: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, nuclear medicine), ensuring safety and efficiency.
Staff Management: Lead hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes for radiology staff.
Equipment Oversight: Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, service contracts, and procurement of radiology equipment
Quality & Compliance: Implement and monitor quality assurance, radiation safety, and accreditation efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ACR, ODH)
Financial Management: Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets; monitor expenditures and pursue cost-efficiencies.
Strategic Development: Collaborate with Administration leadership and cross-functional teams on service-line strategy, process improvement, and technology integration
Customer Relations: Address patient inquiries or complaints, liaise with physicians, participate in community or board meetings, and promote the department's image.
Marketing: In conjunction with the Director of Marketing, develops marking initiatives to promote the service line.
Revenue Cycle Management: Financial oversight of the coding, charge entry and the billing workflows of the department.
