About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Radiology Services, sometimes referred to as a Director of Radiology or Radiology Director. The Director of Radiology Services provides leadership, supervision, and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to both patients and staff. This position is full-time with shifts available during the day, specifically 8-hour shifts at Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX.

Requirements

• Associates Degree from an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One or more certifications in imaging modalities (Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
• Specialized training in CT or MRI preferred.
• Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
• Previous experience as a radiology technologist/Nuclear Medicine/Other modalities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current state licensed CRT, Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH and ARRT-R.
• Current Basic Life Support /BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards required.

Responsibilities

• Directs all human resource functions of the department including overseeing training and ensuring staff competencies.
• Ensures safe staffing levels within the department.
• Develops and manages budget to meet department, organizational, and patient safety goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Monitors departmental indicators and performance improvement activities, reporting as directed.
• Responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technician duties when needed.
