About The Position
The position involves being the administrator of the corporate quality system, integrating Operator Process Control (OPC), AAR M-1003, and Training Within Industry (TWI). The individual will act as the corporate administrator of the associated PTC Windchill quality document repository. Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing compliance with current industry standards such as AAR, ASTM, and SAE, developing and conducting product, process, and supplier audits, and converting audit findings into system improvement recommendations and solutions via process corrective action (PCA) management. The role also requires evaluating the effectiveness of approved and implemented solutions, coordinating activities and communication with auditing agencies, customers, and related parties, and providing on-site support during external audits. Additionally, the position supports international joint ventures on AAR quality assurance and import product quality, assists account managers and service engineers on product quality, and develops communication systems to share best practices internally and externally. The individual will implement new or improved manufacturing test methods and maintain records, reports, and files of position activities, while also conducting special projects as requested by management.
