About The Position

The Director of Quality Assurance and Grants Management is responsible for ensuring compliance with grant funding regulations and requirements, optimizing processes with QA practices, verifying quality through audits/data analysis, as well as grants management by coordinating the full grant life cycle pre-award to close out.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to relate to persons of various economic levels and cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare clinical fundamentals, patient safety standards, and quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Ability to perform data analytics, and lead performance improvement teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of applicable software programs including reporting portals.
  • Bachelor level degree or higher in business administration, public health, finance, or clinical related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years healthcare experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing data through a variety of software systems preferred.
  • Experience managing grants preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes data to review quality measures and identify trends, areas of success, and areas for improvement.
  • Develops policies and procedures to ensure adherence and implementation of grant activities.
  • Leads data collection and analysis for quality measures of special projects.
  • Identifies funding opportunities, develops proposals, and coordinates application processes.
  • Ensures adherence to funder rules, internal controls, and legal requirements.
  • Analyzes grant processes to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and strengthen controls.
  • Oversees grants management, including timely, high quality programmatic and fiscal reporting, as well as quarterly internal grant audits.
  • Monitors expenditures and assists with grants management fiscal reporting.
  • Implements quality control measures for grant data and systems.
  • Serves as liaison between funding sources and organization.
  • Facilitates completion of community health needs assessment as required by HRSA and guide leadership and Board of Directors through programmatic areas of focus and need.
  • Attends clinical quality meetings and continuing education sessions to update knowledge and serves as organization resource for quality improvement matters.
