Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in a business role working in compliance, privacy, quality assurance, non-financial audits and/or assessments; history of non-profit management a plus.
  • Staff and Management experience and interaction – with an emphasis on sharing information, creating dialogue and explaining policies and procedures in a manner that is clearly understood by a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees compliance of all client and student records, including electronic records, professional licensing, HIPAA, FERPA, Department of Education and Department of Health requirements and any other applicable state and/or federal requirements.
  • Works with all programs and services to direct and monitor compliance issues and ensures timely investigation and resolution.
  • Ensures that management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and that policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Keeps abreast of new compliance and regulatory issues and related policies and procedures.
  • Works with Human Resources and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
  • Designs and develops standardized operational, management, and ad hoc reports. Works with user community to understand reporting needs; identifies sources.
