At Velociti, our projects power technology deployments that keep businesses moving. We’re looking for a Director of Project Management to lead, scale, and elevate our Project Management organization. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in complex environments, builds high-performing teams, and ensures projects are delivered with consistency, quality, and measurable impact. As Director of Project Management, you’ll set the standard for how projects are delivered across Velociti—from small, task-based initiatives to large, multi-phase enterprise programs. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Solutions, Field Services, and Finance to ensure every project aligns with customer expectations, operational excellence, and company goals.

  • Collaborate with leadership to execute on strategic direction for Velociti’s Project Management organization and ensure alignment with company goals and operational priorities.
  • Implement and refine project management methodologies, standards, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee project portfolio performance, resource allocation, workload balancing, and PM utilization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, customer-centric execution, and professional growth.
  • Ensure PMs receive effective onboarding, training, and cross-functional exposure required for career progression.
  • Analyze trends to improve quality, profitability, and schedule adherence.
  • Strengthen operational maturity through data-driven improvements.
  • Own PM department KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Reduce escalations by improving predictability, communication, and delivery discipline.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes across the entire project management organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including complex, multi-phase programs.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing project teams or cross-functional groups.
  • Strong expertise in planning, budgeting, risk management, and customer engagement.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in technology deployments, field services, or installation-based environments.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
