The Director of Project Management will lead the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to drive how the business selects, prioritizes, governs, and delivers key initiatives, especially large, cross-functional programs related to ROI, integration work, and enterprise change. This role is central to the annual intake and prioritization cycle, building visibility and accountability for outcomes, and partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional workstream owners to ensure major programs stay on track and deliver value.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of proven project/program/portfolio leadership in a company of similar scale, including experience building or improving project management processes and adapting them to business needs.
  • People leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and elevate team performance.
  • Experience leading or supporting growth through acquisitions
  • Servant-leader mindset and strong collaboration skills; someone who builds trust across functions and helps teams succeed without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Comfort leading work in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Executive-ready communication skills; able to translate work into clear decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’ Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • CPG or Manufacturing experience strongly preferred to hit the ground running

Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise portfolio intake and prioritization: Lead the annual process to gather major initiatives from functional leaders, facilitate prioritization, and prepare the work for executive review and decision-making.
  • Drive governance and quarterly business reviews: Establish and run quarterly updates for major initiatives using clear status visibility and business value/ROI tracking.
  • Strengthen accountability for ROI: Improve how teams are held accountable to outcomes, especially where growth, cost-out, and system support expectations need greater rigor.
  • Lead and develop the PMO team: Manage and develop a team (including employees and contractors), guiding delivery standards, coaching, and execution excellence.
  • Enable enterprise transformation and integration work: Provide project leadership and oversight across major enterprise efforts such as integrations, divestitures, and cross-functional programs as portfolio demands require.
  • Advance PMO tools and ways of working: Help evolve tools and processes toward stronger portfolio visibility, planning, and execution discipline.
  • Build scalable project management standards: Contribute to the development and adoption of a project management playbook to improve consistency and enable repeatable success across the enterprise.
