At ACDi, we’re more than just a contract manufacturer. POSITION SUMMARY Perform a complete range of tasks relating to overseeing the program management team. The Director of Program Management will allocate workload across program managers, monitor program profitability and performance, and support sales activities on existing business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) is preferred; Associate’s degree (A.A), or equivalent, required
  • 3-5 years project management experience is required. Prior experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Government contract experience highly preferred
  • Prior experience performing contract review of purchase orders
  • Prior experience with production scheduling and generating reporting to monitor scheduling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Access)
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a variety of problems associated with managing customer projects
  • Knowledge of MRP production control system
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team of program managers
  • Develop solutions that improve department and company performance
  • Responsible for overall customer satisfaction
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, PCB layout design and quality departments
  • Perform final review and submittal of customer proposals
  • Schedule and lead kick-off meetings for new product introduction
  • Perform detailed contract review of purchase orders received from customers
  • Provide ongoing program monitoring and status reporting both internally and externally
  • Monitor excess, orphan, and obsolete material and disposition with customers
  • Provide ongoing sales support to organically grow customer accounts
  • Coordinate customer visits to facility and travel to customer sites as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
