About The Position

The Director of Professional Residential Services at Vineland Developmental Center is responsible for overseeing and directing the residential services department and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Sociology, Nursing, Guidance and Counseling, Administration, Public or Business Administration, Psychology, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Recreation, or a closely related field.
• Six years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, with three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the residential services department and support services.
• Provide professional direction and coordination for clinical, vocational, educational, recreational, community placement, and social services.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to meet the needs of individuals served.
• Ensure the facility exceeds the care needs of residents, promoting independence and quality of life.
