About The Position

The Director of IT Product Management is a critical leader accountable for driving the product strategy, development, and execution across their product portfolio. This role involves overseeing and developing a team of product managers, defining product vision and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs. The Director will work closely with cross-functional leaders and teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, complex, and innovative products that drive business growth. #LI-AD1

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven success in leading and scaling product teams
  • Strong knowledge of product management frameworks and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, mentorship, and team building skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with replenishment, warehouse, and transportation processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the following Supply Chain Systems a plus:
  • Mercury Gate Transportation Management System (TMS) or similar TMS experience
  • Made4Net Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar WMS experience
  • FourKites Supply Chain Management System (Track and Trace) or similar experience
  • Relex Forecasting & Replenishment or similar experience

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and multi-year strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs; offering insights into industry trends
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, providing guidance on best practices, product development processes, and career growth
  • Accountable for the maturity, growth, and culture of the team and product domains they own
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless end-to-end product management, from ideation to development and testing, to launch, and post launch optimization
  • Forward thinking on cross-functional team needs and bring awareness to leaders of those areas
  • Accountable for determining priority of work by providing key insights on value, scope, cost, and resourcing needs
  • Own project budget and Cost Center budget, as appropriate
  • Accountable for team’s delivery (guiding and coaching when necessary) on project management and Scrum processes to ensure changes are managed with the appropriate level of governance
  • Act as primary point of contact for product related matters, while maintaining alignment with stakeholders and ensuring a shared understanding of product goals
  • Support solving escalated calls when On Call team member is unable to resolve themselves
  • Accountable for SOX Controls, as needed
