About The Position

You will be the visionary leader, fusing technical depth, market insight, and business strategy to secure Pure's victory in the fiercely competitive enterprise file market. This is a highly visible role where you will directly own the strategic roadmap and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver category-defining innovation and accelerated revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven mastery of Product Management, demonstrated by a track record of successfully planning, launching, and scaling complex, enterprise-grade software or infrastructure products.
  • Deep familiarity with competitive NAS environments and the ecosystem (e.g., Dell, NetApp, etc.), coupled with the ability to define and articulate a clear strategy for disruption and market leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of simplifying highly complex technical concepts and influencing decision-makers across all organizational levels, from engineering teams to the executive suite.
  • High-energy, self-starter mindset with proven success executing GTM collaboration and delivering impactful results in complex, matrixed organizational environments.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability, utilizing market data, customer insights, and financial metrics to drive product strategy and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic vision and execution roadmap for Enterprise File solutions across the FlashArray and FlashBlade portfolio, defining how Pure's superior architecture provides a differentiated winning strategy against market incumbents.
  • Identify and drive winning GTM strategies and plays in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, translating market understanding and competitive analysis into tangible outcomes that significantly increase win rates and displace competitors.
  • Establish key areas of ownership including pricing, positioning, and packaging, ensuring product messaging clearly articulates the unique value proposition and compelling differentiation of our solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Serve as a customer-facing thought leader, building deep trust with strategic customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, using their insights to continuously refine product direction and close gaps in product, partnerships, and enablement to accelerate market adoption.
  • Lead with operational rigor and data-driven insights, setting clear product goals and KPIs that align with the company's financial and growth objectives, ensuring continuous innovation and measurable business impact across all product initiatives.
