About The Position

Wonder is seeking a strategic and customer-obsessed Director of Product to lead the consumer commerce and growth engine—from sign-up and shopping to checkout, payments, loyalty, and return-user journeys. This leader will shape our end-to-end growth strategy across mobile and web, spanning product strategy, experimentation, platform thinking, and close partnership with marketing, engineering, operations, and finance. Requirements

  • 11 + years of product management experience building customer-facing products in high-growth marketplaces or eCommerce businesses
  • Proven ability to drive measurable business outcomes through funnel optimization, UX improvements, and experimentation
  • Strong analytical operator with deep experience using data to diagnose problems and identify opportunities
  • Comfortable owning complex, cross-functional spaces like payments, checkout, subscription programs, and martech foundations
  • Excellent communicator who brings clarity, inspires alignment, and influences partners at all levels
  • A natural problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building 0→1 as much as iterating
  • Collaborative, low-ego leader who elevates teams and builds strong cross-functional relationships
  • You think holistically about the customer journey and the levers that drive growth
  • You balance user experience with business impact and know how to make smart tradeoffs
  • You simplify the complex and move quickly to test, learn, and improve
  • You hold a high bar for execution quality and product craft

Responsibilities

  • Own the consumer commerce and growth strategy , in partnership with Marketing—spanning sign-up, shopping, loyalty, segmentation and retention
  • Drive revenue and conversion by optimizing the mobile and web checkout funnels
  • Scale Wonder+ (membership) and loyalty experiences , increasing trial and strengthening paid membership retention.
  • Shape Wonder.com as an acquisition and conversion engine, creating fast, intuitive pathways to order
  • Develop a rigorous experimentation culture across checkout, onboarding, and return journeys
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and design to deliver reliable, scalable consumer experiences
  • Communicate strategy and outcomes clearly to leadership and influence decisions across the organization
  • Mentor and develop PM talent , elevating product craft and execution across the Consumer team
