About The Position

Gopuff is building solutions that change how people buy their everyday essentials. We meet customers’ immediate needs with products from snacks and ice cream to household goods and beer, at the click of a button. Alongside this core experience, we’re building industry-leading advertising capabilities for our brand partners as part of Gopuff Ads. We are seeking a Director of Product who is excited about creating best-in-class advertising solutions that will create a win-win-win: for our shoppers, advertisers and Gopuff as a business. In this role you will support the Gopuff Ads business across our product suite of Sponsored Search & Products, Display, Non-Endemic, In-Bag Samples, Data Insights & Partnerships, and much more. You’ll own the AdTech strategy and roadmap, partner closely with commercial, ops, engineering, data science and key external vendors, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. You’ll think creatively, bring ideas to life, and are highly data-driven, with experience in advertising, commerce media or retail media. We are building across different layers of the stack: front-end experiences, APIs, back-end services and data processing systems. We are looking for growth-minded people who are eager to learn, can bring clarity to ambiguous problems, and are passionate about delivering top quality products. Individuals who can appear onsite in the Philadelphia or Miami office three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) may receive preferential treatment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in Product Management including leading complex, multi-stakeholder products or platforms.
  • Deep experience in AdTech, retail media / commerce media
  • Track record of owning a product strategy and roadmap
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills: defining KPIs, running experiments, and using data to guide trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners and senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data monetization, measurement and insights products, or with external data partners and clean rooms.
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplaces or on-demand delivery.
  • Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AdTech product vision and strategy across Gopuff Ads in collaboration with the Gopuff Ads commercial teams
  • Lead product discovery, ideation and intake
  • Support prioritization and sequencing with Engineering
  • Develop Gopuff’s best-in-class data analytics and insights
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans
  • Build, lead and mentor the AdTech team
  • Engage and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support and evaluate external AdTech relationships
