We are adding to The E Tech Group team! We are seeking a Director of Procurement to develop and lead procurement strategies that support project-driven system integration work. You will ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials, software, and subcontracted services critical to delivering automation projects. You will play critical role in ensuring that E Tech Group secures the best quality goods and services at the most competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including leadership roles
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing strategic suppliers
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large spend portfolios
• Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, compliance, and risk management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.
• Proven track record of cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in engineering, automation, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with OEM and distributor ecosystems
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CSCP)
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems (Intacct, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy for services supporting system integration projects
• Establish preferred vendor programs with OEMs, distributors, panel shops, and subcontractors
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, rebates, and strategic agreements to support margin and schedule
• Partner with Project Management and Engineering to align procurement plans with project schedules
• Oversee supplier performance, expediting, and risk mitigation for project delivery
• Develop procurement policies, approval workflows, and controls across multiple project teams
• Own spend analysis, cost forecasting, and working capital optimization
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement systems, tools, and processes
• Lead and develop procurement, sourcing, and expediting teams
• Serve as an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.
