About The Position

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Sets the company’s procurement vision, strategy and ensures goals are aligned with overall company objectives. Manages high-level internal key stakeholders and key supplier relationships. Maintain relationships with Programs and Departments and functional VPs. Champions the strategic sourcing process for all externally purchased goods and services. Oversees definition of standards, guidelines and policy compliance requirements. Develops a culture that attracts, rewards and promotes high-quality procurement professionals. Sets organizational performance goals and regularly monitors performance against the goals. Participates in executive operating committee meetings and initiatives. Guides and assists procurement staff in developing procurement strategies to meet the overall corporate procurement goal. Develops strategies and customized solutions for complex and strategic partnership agreements. Leverages the functionality of Coupa in order to optimize workflows, strengthen compliance and improve efficiency across the agency. Performs all other duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Senior executive with demonstrated business and supply chain/purchasing track record, as evidenced by minimum 10 years business operations experience and minimum 6 years broad-based procurement experience. Stronge knowledge of Coupa Full understanding of the strategic sourcing and supplier/category management strategies Understanding of key supply markets and key spending areas Ability to provide leadership, vision and direction to the changing role of procurement in a center-led structure. Skilled negotiator and motivator Self-confidence, strong presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills Fosters teamwork and organizational development Commitment to SCO’s values of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Requirements

  • Senior executive with demonstrated business and supply chain/purchasing track record, as evidenced by minimum 10 years business operations experience and minimum 6 years broad-based procurement experience.
