Job Summary Responsible for leading company-wide sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities to deliver cost efficiency, supply continuity, and financial results. This role oversees all procurement functions including fleet management, retail products, and alternative revenue streams, to align purchasing strategies with operational goals and financial targets. Is a strategic business partner to Finance and Operations teams through hands‑on leadership in execution, vendor negotiations, and team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or related field (required)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management to include supervision of a procurement team (required)
  • Proven success leading vendor negotiations and managing complex supplier portfolios (required).
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to translate procurement actions into business impact (required).
  • Experience supporting multi‑site, multi-unit organizations in the retail, hospitality, QSR, or fitness industry (required).
  • Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform daily computer-based work, including frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and multiple screens.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via video conference, including the ability to participate in meetings and make presentations.
  • Ability to read, review, and interpret information in printed and electronic form (e.g., contracts, reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis (e.g., samples, files, product literature, or supplies).
  • Ability to travel occasionally (day and/or overnight) to vendor and/or company locations, including the ability to drive and/or fly as required for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy & Execution Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with annual operating plans and financial objectives. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFPs, and contract negotiations across key spend categories. Drives cost savings and margin improvement
  • Oversee inventory management practices for in-club consumables and operational supplies. Partner with Operations and Finance to establish inventory control standards, reorder points, safety stock levels, and cycle count processes. Improve inventory turns, reduce excess and obsolete inventory Ensure alignment between sourcing strategies, vendor lead times, and inventory requirements. Leverage inventory and spend data to enhance demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and working‑capital efficiency. Support implementation and optimization of inventory tracking within ERP or procurement systems
  • Supplier & Contract Management Manage supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and performance management. Establish SLAs, KPIs, and governance processes for key vendors. Partner with Legal and Finance to manage contract lifecycle, risk, and compliance. Ensure ethical sourcing and adherence to internal procurement policies.
  • Fleet Management Oversight Provide oversight and direction for the team responsible for fleet procurement, leasing, maintenance, and lifecycle management. Ensure fleet strategies optimize cost, utilization, vendor performance, and compliance. Partner with Operations and Finance on fleet budgeting, replacement planning, and vendor negotiations.
  • Retail Products & Merchandise Oversee procurement and vendor sourcing for retail products and in club merchandise. Support pricing, margin, inventory, and promotional planning in partnership with Operations. Ensure product availability, quality standards, and supplier performance across retail categories.
  • Team Leadership & Development Supervise, lead and develop a high‑performing procurement team. Establish clear priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations.
