Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of Process Engineering. This position is pivotal in overseeing all sections of the semiconductor fabrication process, including Lithography, Etch, Thin Film, Diffusion, CMP, and EPI. The Director will lead a department comprising over 50 engineers and technicians, ensuring that all processes are optimized for efficiency and quality. This role requires a strong leader with a sharp technical mind who can effectively collaborate with various functional teams, including manufacturing, equipment, process integration, quality control/assurance, facility, and procurement. The ultimate goal is to achieve fab delivery, cost-saving, and efficiency improvement objectives. In this role, the Director of Process Engineering will be responsible for setting up robust processes through Process Release Standards (PRS) and establishing effective monitoring systems to ensure high-quality inline processes. The Director will also maintain and review inline Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure that Critical Process (CP) and Critical Process Capability (CPK) metrics meet targets. Continuous improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Wafer Per Hour (WPH), rework rate, and hold rate will be essential. The Director will work closely with teams to reduce inline defects and manage process change requests as a member of the Process Change Control Board (PCCB). Additionally, collaboration with the Research and Development (R&D) team on new module process development will be a key responsibility.
