About The Position

We're Hiring: Director of Post Production – Unscripted Television Are you a seasoned post production leader with a passion for unscripted television? We’re looking for a Director of Post Production to oversee the entire post pipeline—from offline to final delivery—on a wide slate of unscripted series and specials. If you're a collaborative problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to deliver under tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• 7+ years in post-production, with at least 3 years at a leadership level
• Strong background in unscripted television, including docu-series, reality, and competition formats
• Deep understanding of post-production workflows, tools (Avid, Adobe, DaVinci), and delivery protocols
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to lead with confidence, communicate effectively, and stay calm under pressure
• Network and streamer delivery experience is a must (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Discovery, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all post production operations for multiple unscripted projects simultaneously
• Manage internal post teams, external vendors, editors, and post supervisors
• Create and maintain post schedules, ensuring on-time delivery to networks/platforms
• Supervise workflows for ingest, offline, finishing, color, mix, and delivery
• Collaborate with EPs, showrunners, and network executives to meet creative and technical expectations
• Troubleshoot post-related issues across editorial, media management, and delivery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codecs, formats, and delivery specs
